By virtue of R.A. 6846 otherwise known as the Social Housing Support Fund Act, the HGC is mandated to be the trustee and administrator of the Cashflow Guarantee component of the Abot-Kaya Pabahay Fund.

FACTS & FIGURES:

In February 2003, the HGC Board approved the Modified Cashflow Guaranty Coverage. This scheme provides an alternative form of settlement of guaranty calls whereby HGC continues the monthly amortizarion payments of the called accounts as they fall due. The scheme was pilot-tested and fully implemented in 2004.
