CATERING SERVICE
TERMS OF REFERENCE

I. OBJECTIVE
To select the most responsive bidder to render catering service for the Home Guaranty Corporation’s 2015 Christmas Party.

II. SCOPE OF WORK AND DELIVERABLE
The winning bidder shall:

  1. Provide catering service for approximately 350 persons;
  2. Provide adequate number of waiters/waitresses;
  3. Provide kitchenware/chinaware, glassware, goblets, cups, knives, spoons, forks and other cutleries to be used during the event;
  4. Ensure the complete preparation and set-up of tables and chairs at least two (2) hours before the start of the event;
  5. Ensure and maintain the quality of the food to be served;
  6. Ensure that the food shall be ready for serving at least one (1) hour before the appointed time; and
  7. Provide food tasting and prepare a mock set-up which includes one table set-up in accordance with the event’s theme.

  • VIP Guests : Meals will be served sit-down style.
  • HGC Employees : Buffet style.

    Type of Meal

    Menu shall consist of the following:

  • Steamed Rice
  • Soup or Salad
  • Chicken
  • Pork or Beef
  • Fish/Seafood
  • Dessert
  • Free Flow of beverages (Tropical Fruit Juice w/ Fresh Fruit Bits)
  • Coffee and Tea (Upon Request)
  • Purified drinking water and ice for drinks

    Set-up

  • Elegant buffet set-up with lights
  • Round dinner tables dressed with floor-length linens and table runners/toppers
  • Centerpiece with flowers or balloons
  • Dressed table for the Registration Table
  • Chairs with floor-length seat covers
  • Clean and fresh linens

IV. APPROVED BUDGET (Chargeable against the Corporate Operating Budget for CY 2015)
The approved budget for the contract is TWO HUNDRED FORTY FIVE THOUSAND PESOS (P245,000.00) inclusive of VAT & Service Charge.

V. CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
The proposal shall be evaluated using the Cost-Quality method wherein Cost is 30% and Quality is 70%, details as follows:
